We all know what they look like, but being up close to the Pyramids of Giza is an awe inspiring sight.

But they are not the only thing that make Egypt a special place to visit. There are some world class dive sights at the Red Sea resorts, Sharm El Sheikh is the liveliest. Dive into the crystal clear waters to view the colourful marine life below. If you want to see more temples, take a traditional Felucca boat ride down the Nile to the city of Luxor. In the city itself, the small museum has many important antiquities from Ancient Egypt and is pleasant to wander around. Luxor is also a great base for exploring the Valley of the Kings.
